On March 7th 2018 Minister for Innovation, Sophie Loehde, has notified that she will be enforcing a total state lockout on all public employees from April 10th. This comes after a breakdown in the collective bargaining between the state and the public employees has lead the group to announce a strike in certain areas from April 4th. By announcing the lockout Loehde hopes to reach an agreement before the start of April, but if worst comes to worst over 200.000 public employees will be locked out causing major disruption to the daily life of the Danish people. It will close down schools, universities, transport and some functions of non acute healthcare. It is still uncertain of the lockout becomes a reality but all state workplaces are preparing for the possibility. (Photo by LISELOTTE SABROE / Ritzau Scanpix / Ritzau Scanpix via AFP)

(FILES) A file photo taken on January 13, 2016 shows the villa built for Nazi propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels between 1936-39, near the Bogensee lake north of Berlin. A lakeside villa built for Nazi propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels is being offered up for free to anyone willing to take on the daunting task of being responsible for its upkeep. The Villa Bogensee, which stands on a 17-hectare plot of land just outside Berlin, was conceived as a country bolthole for Goebbels in 1936. The Nazi PR chief is said to have used the house for his illicit liaisons with actresses right up until April 1945, just days before he and his wife committed suicide in a Berlin bunker. The villa has been unused since 2000 and has fallen into disrepair, with the city-state of Berlin struggling to find a new owner to take it over. (Photo by John MACDOUGALL / AFP)

This handout picture released by the Brazilian Presidency shows an aerial view of Porto Alegre, Brazil, taken on May 5, 2024, during an overfly by Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva of areas affected by floods triggered by torrential storms in the southern Rio Grande do Sul State. Authorities in southern Brazil scrambled Sunday to rescue people from raging floods and mudslides in what has become the region's largest ever climate catastrophe, with at least 78 dead and 115,000 forced from their homes. Entire cities were underwater, with thousands of people cut off from the world by the floodwater, brought by days of torrential rains.
