10th August 2016. Spotlight Brighton. Brighton is an English seaside resort town. About an hour south of London by train, it's a popular day-trip destination. Its broad shingle beach is backed by amusement arcades and Regency-era buildings. Brighton Pier, in the central waterfront section, opened in 1899 and now has rides and food kiosks. The town is also known for its nightlife, arts scene, shopping and festivals. Patrick Timpson, Director of Riddle & Finn's champagne & oyster bar, King's Road Arches (the promenade). They are well known for their high-end seafood platters (pictured), as well as delicacies like oysters & champagne & have been a fixture of Brighton since 2006. They were one of the first companies in Brighton to push the locally sourced envelope. the majority of their fish comes straight off the boats at BNFS in nearby Shoreham Harbour every morning.
