Laura McMahon, Education Manager at Vauxhall City Farm, Tyers Street. The farm has been a fixture of Vauxhall since the '70's & was originally set up by local residents (squatters) as somewhere they can grow & rear their own foodstuffs. They have over 100 animals on site & are often called upon for film, television & theatre productions as their animals are so placid & used to human contact. Their sheep were used in the Shakespeare production "King Lear With Sheep" & their alpaca's were used in the opening sequence of new Star Wars movie "The Force Awakens". They are currently expanding their facilities & are about to open a brand new cafe & education centre (their education element plays a big part of current operations). The animals in-shot are Jerry the alpaca (11 years old) & wendy the baby golden Guernsey goat (around a month old). ? Daniel Lynch / Evening Standard / eyevine
