About 7000 people claiming to be part of the Yellow Vests movement (Gilets Jaunes) marched in Paris to protest against the increase in taxes, the cost of living, the implementation of the RIC (Referendum on the Citizens' Initiative) and for some the resignation of President Emmanuel Macron. The procession marched through Paris in peace and quiet, making a loop from the Place des Invalides, some marginal clashes between demonstrators and the police took place at the end of the march.
