Hollywood star Vince Vaughn has sold his home in the upper section of Los Angeles's Nichols Canyon for $2.46 million. The "Dodgeball', 'Anchorman' and 'True Detective' star purchased the Hollywood Hills residence in July 2014 for $2.375 million from actress Kate Bosworth. Built in 1955, set behind unattractive iron gates on just over half of an acre, it is described as a "gorgeous Hollywood Hills canyon retreat that offers the perfect Southern California lifestyle." The 2,890-square foot home has three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Vaughn had been trying to rent it out since October 2016 at $14,000 per month. Inside, there are dark chocolate stained hardwood floors. Multiple sets of French doors open to a brick terrace with city views over a waist high hedge. There's also a dining area/den, a galley style kitchen with up-to-date high-grade stainless-steel appliances. There's two guest bedrooms on the ground floor. The skylight-topped master bedroom occupies the entire second floor with two fitted walk-in closets, a ceramic tiled bathroom with tub and steam shower, and a private deck. Outside, there's a lap lane swimming pool.
