Items belonging to the late Prodigy star Keith Flint - including his piercings - are set to go under the hammer. A selection of the Firestarter star's personal effects will be sold at auction in England next month (November 2019) to help settle his estate?s debts. As well as his distinctive piercings, including his famous nose ring, lots will include a gold chest of drawers, an MTV award, an archive of solo music recordings, artworks and his custom-built bed. Singer Keith, 49, was found dead at home in March after taking his own life. The sale will be held at Cheffins in Cambridge on November 7. Martin Millard, director at Cheffins Fine Art, said: ?The sale is full of interesting items which give an insight into Keith?s personal life and highlight the difference between his stage persona and his private life. Valuing items with such provenance is almost impossible, and therefore we will not be publishing any pre-sale estimates, but expect there to be lots to cater to most budgets." In excess of 170 lots will be offered. The specially commissioned bed - made of oak plank and steel - is supported at each corner by entwined thorns and is accessed via steps supported on the back of a crouching winged mythical beast. Flint had a hand in designing it. There are also customised pieces from the renowned London store of Jimmie Martin as well as a pencil portrait of Keith presented to him on his 47th birthday by regulars at pub he owned. And the sale will include a number of Keith?s motorcycle leathers, helmets and ephemera showcasing his adrenaline-seeking side. The sale is expected to fetch tens of thousands of pounds.
