Lockdown to stop the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus has taken a heavy toll on animals particularly stray dogs and pigeons as all the eateries are shut in wake of the government order. Two people have died due to COVID-19 in Indian-administered Kashmir. As a preventive measure, the government in the region has closed all the religious places by placing strict restrictions on the movement of people, sealing all borders and air traffic and advised people not to move out of their homes.
