Der Plenarsaal, in dem neben dem Deutschen Bundestag auch die Bundesversammlung tagt, ist der gr??te Versammlungssaal im Reichstagsgebaude. In der Mitte der Stirnseite befindet sich der Sitzungsvorstand mit dem Bundestagsprasidenten bzw. seinem Vertreter und zwei Schriftfuhrern, dahinter der Direktor beim Deutschen Bundestag und die Mitarbeiter des Plenarassistenzdienstes. Vom Sitzungsvorstand aus auf der linken Stirnseite befinden sich der Sitz des Wehrbeauftragten und die Bundesratsbank, auf der rechten Seite die Regierungsbank. Der jeweils dem Prasidium nachstgelegene Platz ist dem Bundeskanzler und dem Bundesratsprasidenten vorbehalten.
