Maradona was reported Sunday, 18 April 2004, to have landed in the intensive care station of a hospital in Buenor Aires and being treated for severe heart and respiratory problems. Earlier Sunday, Maradona watched a league play in Buenos Aires, and celebrated the victory of his former team Boca Juniors and gave out autographs.
