The polar bear gives a violent shake EMMEN, THE NETHERLANDS MEDIA DRUM WORLD +44 (0) 333 321 1546 www.mediadrumworld.com picturedesk@mediadrumworld.com Polar Shake it Off By Aimee Braniff Cree **EXCLUSIVE** PERFECT IMAGES show a polar bear shaking off her swim like she is straight out of the herbal essences ad. Images show the polar bear in the water enjoying her swim and then violently shaking off the water to refresh her hair and dry off. These images were captured by photographer Tazi Brown from Helmond, The Netherlands. Tazi captured the images on her Canon 700D with 55-250 kit lens in Dierenpark Emmen in Emmen, The Netherlands. “The polar bear dived in the water so I had my camera ready to shoot, as I knew she would be shaking off the water at some point,” said Tazi “Because of the dark and cloudy day, the light was poor so I had to use quite a long exposure time. “I wasn't too sure if it would work out the way I'd hoped, but even though the images show some motion on the bear and the drops, I love the way the water moves and splashes. “My favourite shot is the one where the water circles around her head. “That really shows the movement of her head. Those lines of water and drops make such a beautiful circle of splashes. “It took some time to realise that the dark rocks of the temporary enclosure made a perfect background and made the drops pop out and the motion unsharpness actually gives the water a little extra movement. “These images got lovely comments in the range of stunning , beautiful, epic and amazing.” ENDS
