The Ghost of Kyiv mural at 3/7 Mezhyhirska Street celebrates the pilots of the 40th tactical aviation brigade, who defended the sky above the Ukrainian capital in the early days of Russia's full-scale invasion, Kyiv, capital of Ukraine, May 18, 2023. The mural was unveiled on August 27, 2022, on Ukraines Aviation Day. Well-known street artist Andrii Kovtun led the team of artists who worked on this project. After the official opening ceremony, the guests of honour left their palm prints in yellow and blue paint on the wall of the mural as a symbol of unity and everyones contribution to common Victory.
