ORLANDO ALDANA (34 years old), a Santa Barbara resident, brings candles to start a candlelight vigil for the victims of the Conception dive boat tragedy. Aldana is quoted as saying, 'I might have know someone on that boat. I come here almost everyday to suck in the view and relax. I saw the tragedy on the news and saw the news vans and cameras and felt like these people deserve a vigil like the Latinos do it: Pray the Rosary and help them cross over.' He continued, 'It's a Latino tradition to light candles for the first nine nights, and I wanted to honor them like that.' At least 34 people are feared dead after the 75' dive boat 'Conception' caught fire off Santa Cruz Island.
